New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): Rihanna is on a roll as the songstress has scored her second consecutive number one album with ANTI after her 2012 rank one album Unapologetic.
According to Billboard, ANTI released on January 28, grabbed the top spot with 166,000 first week sales with 1 million complimentary downloads.
The first song from the album called ‘Work’ featuring rapper Drake has become the Barbadian singer’s 27th Top 10 hit on Billboard’s Hot 100, tying her with Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson and Elton John for the fifth-most Top 10s in Hot 100 history.
ANTI’s lead single ‘Work’ which hit the numero uno spot on iTunes in 91 countries less than 36 hours after its release, was the highest selling digital single of last week and currently dominates every urban, rhythmic, and pop radio station in the U.S.
The 27-year-old songstress will be performing at the 58th Grammy Awards, fresh off the release of her much awaited album. She’ll be joining the likes of other Universal Music superstars namely Adele, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and James Bay among others.
Rihanna is also about to kick off THE ANTI WORLD TOUR in North America on February 26, 2016. (ANI)
