Melbourne, Feb. 8(ANI): Singer Ronan Keating has recently opened up about his first marriage to Yvonne Connolly, saying that he has no regrets about the end of his first marriage.
The 38-year-old singer took to his Facebook page to pen a lengthy note, in which he wrote that he does not regret because this is what he wanted, adding that everyone should respect his decision of moving on, News.com.au reports.
The ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ hit-maker continued, “There are always two people in a relationship and if it’s not working there’s more than one good reason. I will not stand for complete misrepresentation of my truth and my heart anymore.”
He added, “We are a family, Storm and the three kids. I love them. Both of us were in relationships when we met and weren’t looking, we were just living.”
Keating has ended his 12-year marriage to Connolly after he had an affair with dancer Francine Cornell in 2009.
Later, after breaking things off with Cornell and splitting from Connolly, he dated Aussie TV producer and model Storm Uechtritz and got hitched with her in 2015 after finalising his divorce. (ANI)
