Salman Khan’s first look in Tubelight is a closeup of the actor clad in military uniforms from behind, carrying a gun, in a battle field with a sky crowded with dark clouds just above the rugged mountain range of Ladakh.
Since Tubelight set is against in the backdrop of 1962 war between China and India at the Sino–Indian border it is not difficult to glean the story line from the hints we see in the media. There is a war and there is a handicapped man, obviously a war-wounded, and there is a beautiful Chinese woman living in a border village.
Director Kabir Khan took to Twitter to share the first shot of his upcoming film featuring the his hero Salman Khan dressed in military gear and wished everyone a “Happy Independence Day from the team of Tubelight”.
The crew has wrapped up the Ladakh leg ahead of their schedule. Salman is cast opposite an internationally-known Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu and Salman has been cast opposite his real–life brother Sohail Khan.
This is the third film Kabir and Salman are collaborating after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Tubelight is scheduled to release on Eid next year. – CINEWS
