Salman Khan is a man to soak up adoration and fan frenzy without batting an eye lid, always with a smile glued to his face.
He has all the reasons in the world to be so. His movies like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan were all blockbusters and broke all records at the box office. Don’t forget his bank balance! Sixteenth highest paid actor in 2016 with a whopping $28.5 million and above Hollywood celebrity Leonardo DiCaprio who is frequently surrounded by all the beautiful models dominating the world’s catwalks.
And now the superstar is all set to give another hit with Kabir Khan’s next, Tubelight.
Khan has teased fans with a still of Salman dressed as a soldier against the scenic mountain ranges of Ladakh.
And now another look of Salman Khan from the movie has surfaced online.
The actor is shooting in Manali in Himachal Pradesh and we also see a grand welcome for the Sultan star in true Himachal style. The fact that he was wearing a Himachali cap made him an instant favourite among the fans there. The team is currently shooting in Naggar, known for its quaint houses. It also affords majestic views of Rohtang Pass, the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti, and Solang Nullah.
Earlier, in July, Salman shot the film in Ladakh, with rumoured girl friend Iulia Vantur watching him closely, and with a visit to the Dalai Lama as an added bonus.
Salman, who is playing the character of a man with special needs in the film, obviously a war-wounded and a sweeping shot from his behind into the distance shows us some soldiers seemingly dejected and tired, ambling along a valley.
Earlier, the second schedule of Tubelight was to begin in the Kashmir Valley, but it was deferred owing to prevailing unrest there.
Those were the days when Shammi Kapoor, Dev Anand, Saira Banu et al danced and slipped on the snow-clad ravines merrily, and romanced in house boats.
The team might be back to Kashmir later this month to film some portions, according to a source.
Tubelight is set against the backdrop of 1962 war between China and India at the Sino-Indian border.
Oh, don’t forget Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, cast opposite Salman Khan in the film and Kabir sahib is yet to tell us what happened between the two!
This is the third film where Kabir and Salman are collaborating after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Tubelight is scheduled to release on Eid next year. – CINEWS
