Johannesburg, June 27 (ANI): Veteran Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara has confirmed on Saturday that he will draw curtains on his Test cricket career during the home series against India in August.
The 37-year-old, who had already retired from one-day and T20 cricket, said that this is his time to call it a day, pointing that he would play two of the three Tests against India, Sport24 reported.
The left-hander has scored 12305 runs at an average of 58, making him the fifth highest run getter in Test match history.
Sangakkara will also miss the third and final Test of the ongoing series against Pakistan. (ANI)
