Sao Paulo, July 21 (IANS) Six-time Brazilian football champions Sao Paulo have secured former Brazil under-21 midfielder Marcos Guilherme on loan from Atletico Paranaense.
The 21-year-old will be tied to the club until December 2018 after ending a six-month loan spell with Dynamo Zagreb in Croatia, Sao Paulo said in a statement.
The announcement came a day after Sao Paulo signed former Juventus and Inter Milan playmaker Hernanes, also on loan, from Hebei China Fortune, reports Xinhua news agency.
Guilherme was Brazil’s highest scorer at the 2015 South American under-20 championship with four goals.
Sao Paulo are currently 17th in Brazil’s 20-team Serie A standings with just four wins from 15 matches.
