Mumbai, April, 14 (CINEWS): Dalbir Kaur (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) is the more seasoned sister of Sarbjit Singh (Randeep Hooda), a rancher from Bhikhiwind in Punjab. While cultivating in 1990, he incidentally traversed to Pakistan and consequently started a dull stage in his life.
He got mixed up for an Indian spy and was given the death penalty in 1991. Be that as it may, he wasn’t hanged. Rather, the Pak powers kept him in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail for a long time, toward the end of which he was killed by his detainees. Amid his two-decade-long stay in jail, his sister Dalbir, who treated him more like a child than a sibling, made it her life’s central goal to inspire him to walk free. Unfortunately, she didn’t succeed.
National Award-winning chief Omung Kumar (of Mary Kom popularity) was resolved to recount this lamentable story of a sister’s coarseness and caring affection for her sibling to the world.
