Sartaj Aziz to explore if Afghan Govt. interested in reviving talks with Taliban

Karachi, Sept. 4 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz will explore on the sidelines of his visit to Kabul if the Government of Afghanistan is interested in reviving a reconciliation dialogue with the Taliban.

According to the Dawn, Aziz will attend the ministerial meeting of sixth edition of Regional Economic Conference on Afghanistan during his day-long visit.

He will also meet the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.

Pakistan will take a decision on relations with Afghanistan and the reconciliation process after Aziz’s return. (ANI)
