“Gordon Sagoo went missing while hiking Baby Munday Peak in the Cheam range on Sunday, August 14. Chilliwack SAR, Port Coquitlam SAR, Surrey SAR and Lions Bay SAR are out searching for him and we are so thankful for all their efforts. By 11 p.m. on Sunday it had collected more than $20,000 of their $20,000 goal.
According to reports, 50-year-old trail runner Sagoo from North Delta is an experienced hiker and knows the area well. However, his family have said that they do not believe he has the equipment he needs to survive in the mountains for a long time.
Search and rescue crews from around the region have been unable to find a clue about his whereabouts as yet.
His family members and friend held a news conference on Sunday to let everyone know they haven’t given up hope. – CINEWS
