Security beefed up in Varanasi ahead of PM Modi’s visit

Varanasi, Dec. 10 (ANI): Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to his constituency Varanasi on December 12 with Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, heavy security arrangements have been made.

A team of Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMFs) have been deployed to keep the security in check.

There are strict security arrangements in the Varanasi International Airport as well as in ghats. A team of Navy has been sought for water safety.

A video conferencing to review the security arrangement will be held by senior officers in Lucknow. (ANI)
