Washington D.C, Jan. 27 (ANI): American singer Charlie Puth, who recently collaborated with Selena Gomez for duet ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore,’ has revealed the story behind it.
In a recent interview, the 24-year-old singer revealed that he produced the song in Japan and he wanted to come up with a single that has international feel to it, adding that Gomez fulfilled this by completing the song, People Magazine reports.
The ‘Marvin Gaye’ hit-maker also revealed that at the time of recording he did not even had a studio set and the 23-year-old singer had recorded it in his closet.
The track that was dropped on Monday could likely become Puth’s third Top 40 hit.
Earlier, his song ‘See You Again,’ which he collaborated with Wiz Khalifa, nabbed three Grammy nods. (ANI)
