Mumbai, November 27 (CINEWS): Shaad Ali has had a checkered vocation as a movie producer. Child of movie producer Muzaffar Ali (who made Umrao Jaan), Shaad spent a substantial piece of his formative years as a producer in Mani Ratnam’s shadows.
Truth be told, so besotted was Shaad by the Mani factor in his life, that he would come back to help Mani even in the wake of stretching out as a free movie producer.
Incredibly Shaad started his profession as an autonomous movie producer with a revamp of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil blockbuster Alai Payuthe. The redo Saathiya was so dependable it couldn’t fall flat.
After Saathiya, Shaad was exhorted by Mani to make unique movies.
