Shah Jahan’s Urs begin Friday (Lead, correcting date)

Agra, April 13 (IANS) Mughal emperor Shah Jahan’s Urs (birth anniversary) celebrations began on Friday.

The organisers said this year an 1,111-feet long multi-colour chadar will be offered on the grave of the emperor. Entry to Taj Mahal will be free for three days.

On Saturday, the sandal ritual will be performed and on Sunday Fatiha Khani, Quran Khani and Chadarpos will be held.
