Shah Rukh Khan pays Rs 1.93 lakh punishment for unlawful incline

Mumbai, Feburary 13 (CINEWS): A year ago, BMC had crushed the illicit incline outside Shah Rukh’s cottage Mannat. Bollywood genius Shah Rukh Khan,who developed an unlawful slope outside his luxurious lodge “Mannat” here, has paid Rs 1.93 lakh as expense of decimation to the civil powers, a RTI inquiry has uncovered.

RTI dissident Anil Galgali said he had looked for data from Brihanmumbai Civil Company (BMC) about move made on the illicitly built RCC slope outside the lodge by Shah Rukh. Galgali looked for data about the cost brought about and installment got if any.

In an answer, the BMC’s Partner Engineer (Assessment) of Bandra H West ward said that the on-screen character made the installment of Rs 1,93,784 vide a check issued on Citibank on Walk 11 a year ago to close the issue.

At the point when the incline came up in late 2014, local people had grumbled that it blocked access to the acclaimed Mt. Mary Church ventures from the Bandstand side where the performer’s lodge is found. A few activists had claimed that by developing the slope for private use, Shah Rukh had likewise infringed on a part of open area.

A year ago, BMC made a move and annihilated the unlawful slope and had issued a notification to the performing artist on Walk 5 (2015), with a bill adding up to Rs 1.93 lakh keeping in mind the end goal to recuperate the pulverization costs.
