Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ shoot is on in full swing, and now the team has reached Uttarakhand.
But here buzz that instead of staying a luxurious 5-star hotel, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have opted to live in a hut.
The 10 houses where the team is currently living were supposedly chosen by the producers of the film much in advance.
A source said, “The producers toyed with the idea of five-star stay initially, but realised that the closest ones are in Dehradun. The conveyance would have been a hassle since the location is a three-hour-plus drive from Dehradun. That’s when Shahid and the producers decided to opt for homestay. When they suggested the idea to Shraddha, she instantly agreed.”
The film Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, who directed ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ with Akshay Kumar.
‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is scheduled to release on 31st August.–CINEWS
