Mumbai, October 29 (CINEWS): For the second time in six months, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has slapped a notification summoning Bollywood hotshot Shah Rukh Khan regarding the valuation of shares of his co-claimed IPL cricket group, Kolkata Knight Riders, sources said here on Tuesday.
The ED is researching whether the shares of the group were professedly underestimated as it could be violative of the procurements of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
Prior, the ED had served a notification to the group in May this year yet Shah Rukh had not showed up before the organization.
Before that, Shah Rukh was tested in 2011 for claims that KKR had gotten illicit cash exchanged from certain outside expense sanctuaries.
The organization Knight Riders Sports Pvt Ltd, which runs the KKR group, is together claimed by Shah Rukh, on-screen character Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta.
It is asserted that five million shares of KRSPL were sold to Mehta’s organization, Sea Islands Investments Ltd, situated in Mauritius in 2008 and were purportedly underestimated.
Shah Rukh is away on a film shooting task and looked for time to show up before the examining organization which has not set whenever outline on the issue.
In 2011, Shah Rukh was coordinated to give significant reports including the buy of players, incomes, promoting subtle elements and the group’s shareholding example.
