Sharif, Putin expected to usher new era of cooperation

Faisalabad, Mar.01(ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is anticipated to meet Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Tashkent this year to remove hurdles impeding bilateral trade between their two countries.

Ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexey Y Dedov announced the meeting between the two leaders while addressing a meeting hosted in his honour by local business leaders, reports Dawn.

Pointing out that bilateral trade between the two countries , Dedov said that the business communities of have to play their invigorated role, in addition to the governmental support from both the countries and serious efforts are needed to capitaltise these oppurtiunities.

The ambassador said that the Russian Government was making conscious efforts to promote social, cultural and people-to-people contacts which will ultimately provide a strong foundation for enhanced business opportunities between the two countries.(ANI)
