Karachi, Oct 14 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reportedly shortened his visit to the United States from five to three days.
According to The Dawn, Sharif has cancelled two major engagements that were scheduled.
Meanwhile, US officials are discussing a possible visit from Pakistan, that of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.
Sharif’s visit to Chicago to address Pakistani-American investors on October 20 has reportedly been cancelled owing to fears that the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) may turn it into a protest.
Sharif will now arrive in Washington on the night of October 20 and leave for home on October 23. (ANI)
