Sheena Bora case: Recent bone samples do not match those found in 2012

Mumbai, Sept. 23 (ANI): Doctors conducting forensic tests in the Sheena Bora murder case have reportedly claimed that the recent bone samples given by the police do not match those found in 2012.

According to reports, doctors at the Nair Hospital are now saying that the samples of the bones sent to them in 2012 were not Sheena Bora’s.

A Mumbai court on Monday had extended the judicial custody of the three accused (Indrani Mukerjea, Sanjiv Khanna, and the driver) till October 5 in connection with the case.

The Maharashtra Government on Friday decided to transfer the high-profile murder case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Mukherjea was arrested on August 24 for the murder of Sheena Bora, her daughter from an earlier relationship, in 2012.

She has been accused of killing her over a financial dispute, with the help of her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver. (ANI)
