“We had information on movement of terrorists on road towards Bandipora. Our party was there and Sub-Inspector Altaf Ahmad was leading that party. They intercepted a vehicle after the suspicion that terrorists are using that vehicle. This was a small load carrier in which two terrorists were hiding. When the vehicle was stopped, they opened fire. We suspect that one of the terrorists is injured. The whole area is cordoned off, as we suspect that they are hiding in the nearby village,” he added.(ANI)
