‘Sloppy’ Chelsea stunned 4-2 by New York Red Bulls in pre-season clash

New Delhi, July 23(ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday said that the adjournment notice moved by the Congress Party doesn’t seek resignations.

The Rajya Sabha witnessed two adjournments in the pre-lunch session amid uproar over the Lalit Modi episode with the opposition Congress continuously pressing for External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s resignation.

As the House re-assembled at noon after its first adjournment, Rajya Sabha chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari wanted to take up the Question Hour but the opposition refused to yield.

As the noisy scenes continued, Ansari adjourned the House till 2 PM.

Similar scenes were witnessed in the Lok Sabha, which has adjourned for the day as the opposition continued to disrupt the proceedings with their demand that the tainted ministers be asked to resign. (ANI)
