Johannesburg, Mar.04 (ANI): Australia captain Steve Smith has expressed his hope to see spin-friendly tracks in South Africa for the upcoming series, which would give them enough match practice ahead of next week’s World Twenty20 in India.

South Africa will host Australia in a three-match T20 series starting on Friday, before both the sides head off to India for the format’s pinnacle event.

Smith said that it would be smart for both sides to play on spinning conditions ahead of the T20’s big event, insisting that adapting to Indian conditions will be the key to success to win the coveted title, Sport24 reported.

The three T20s in South Africa will be played in Durban, Johannesburg, and Cape Town. (ANI)
