Johannesburg, Feb.18 (ANI): Australia skipper Steve Smith has admitted that his side are fully determined to spoil New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum’s final Test match in Christchurch on Saturday.
While McCullum aims to end his glorious international career on a winning note, Australia are aiming to replace India at the top of Test rankings by sweeping the two-match series, which they lead 1-0.
Smith said that Australia are going to be doing their best to spoil McCullum’s last game, but described the swashbuckling batsman as a ‘terrific player’ and a ‘great servant’ of New Zealand cricket for a long time, Sport24 reported.
Australia crushed New Zealand by an innings and 52 runs in the opening match with one day to spare in Wellington. (ANI)
