Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen in action drama Akira, says she like to act in a sports-based movie.
“I was very active in sports during my school days. I used to play lot of sports even things like shot put, discus throw… I think I was a good at sports,” the actress has said.
Her film Akira is a remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru and is directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The film is set to release on September 2.
At the moment she is filming for Noor and Force 2.
Meanwhile, actor-director Arbaaz Khan has neither confirmed nor denied reports of Sonakshi Sinha being part of his Dabangg 3. She acted in two earlier films.
While there have been reports that Sonakshi will not be part of the third instalment of “Dabangg”, Arbaaz says it’s not completely true.
Arbaaz said: “There is nothing like that… The script is not ready. There will be changes in the film and there could be an introduction of some actors.”
He said that it’s “not completely true that Sonakshi is not going to be part of Dabangg 3. “It all depends on the script. You got to move on and make something interesting for the audience,” he added. Arbaaz feels that people “jump to speculations and make it black and white”.
“You have to be very careful of how you don’t lose the connect with the audience by not having Sonakshi and how you give something new to the audience,” he added. Sonakshi was launched in Bollywood with the blockbuster film Dabangg in 2010. The actress went on to be part of Dabangg 2, which was directed also by Arbaaz. – CINEWS
