South Asian, Rohinie Bisesar wanted for attempted murder

Toronto, Dec 14 (CINEWS): Police have identified a suspect in an unprovoked stabbing Friday (Dec. 11) in downtown Toronto.rohine-bisesar

Police allege a woman armed with a knife stabbed the victim “without provocation” in the Shoppers Drug Mart at 66 Wellington St. W. in the PATH system around 2:55 p.m.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries.

On Sunday, police released security camera images of a suspect.

The next day, police identified a suspect as Rohinie Bisesar, 40, of Toronto.

“She is known to frequent the Financial District of downtown Toronto,” police said in a news release.

Bisesar is wanted for attempted murder.

Police warn she is considered violent and dangerous and shouldn’t be approached.

Anyone who locates her should call 911.

People with information are asked to call 52 Division at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

    On what basis do you write that she is SA? Just because her first name “sounds” SA does not mean she is. She looks like 4-5 generations British or Canadian. Bisesar is not an SA last name.
