Johannesburg, July 9 (ANI): Veteran Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara will be signing off from international cricket at the P Sara Oval in the next month’s second match of the three-match Test series against subcontinent rivals India.

Last month, the 37-year old cricketer had confirmed that he would be drawing curtains on his Test career during the home series against India in August, Sport24 reported.

The left-hander has scored 12305 runs at an average of 58, making him the fifth highest run getter in Test match history.

Meanwhile, the itinerary for the Test series has been announced by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday.

The Virat Kohli-led side will take on the subcontinent rivals in the first Test on August 12 at Galle.

While the second Test will be played at Tamil Union Oval on August 20, third game is scheduled to start from August 28 at SSC Colombo. (ANI)
