Madrid, Oct 24 (IANS) The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.07 percent to close at 10,476.30 points, up from the 10,365.40 points of the previous session.
Shares values were up 2.4 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium falling from the 122.30 points of a week ago to the 112.80 of Friday’s session, Xinhua reported.
Spain’s 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.76 percent, which was above the 1.64 percent of a week ago.
On Friday’s session, Mediaset shares led rises climbing 5.21 percent, followed by Acerinox, Inditex, Telefonica, IAG and Indra A that rose 4.40 percent, 3.07 percent, 2.60 percent, 2.51 percent and 1.95 percent respectively.
On the other hand, Bankia shares led falls losing 3.64 percent, followed by Caixabank, FCC, Banco Popular, Bankinter and Banco Sabadell that lost 3.26 percent, 2.04 percent, 1.71 percent, 1.60 percent and 1.45 percent respectively.
