Karachi, July 22 (ANI): At least 15 civilians have been killed and 38 others injured after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives-laden vest among a crowd of shoppers at a market in north Afghanistan.

Baryalia Basharyar, deputy chief of provincial police, said that the attack took place in Faryab province’s Almar district, reported the Dawn.

He added that those killed included women, children and at least one Afghan army soldier.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

However, Taliban militants have stepped-up attacks on Afghan soldiers and police in recent months. (ANI)
