The moment she read the UnIndian story the Bollywood veteran Supriya Pathak’s thought that it’s a sweet story with an interesting concept.
The seasoned actress known for her off-beat characters, who plays Tannishtha Chatterjee’s mother in the Anupam Sharma directorial, says, “It is a simple story without any complications, a slice-of-life film, and I wanted to be a part of it. I met the director for the first time on the set. It didn’t feel like it was my first day with them.”
Asked about her take on the film’s concept of single mothers finding love again, she says, “It takes time for society to accept any change. While it was unthinkable earlier, now no one frowns upon the idea of a single parent getting a second chance in life.”
