Tamannaah has been chosen as the lead for the remake of Queen which had Kangana Ranaut in the lead.
The film is to be directed by actress Revathy and the dialogues will be written by Suhasini Mani Ratnam.
The film will start shooting soon.
Trisha was rumoured to play this role but it has now been officially confirmed that Tamannaah has been narrowed down for the Tamil remake of Queen.
Tamannaah confirmed this news to some of the popular Bollywood media recently.
In 2005, Tamannaah made her acting debut at the age of 15 in the Bollywood film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra.
In the same year, Tamannaah made her Telugu film debut in Sri, and the next year she appeared in her first Tamil movie, Kedi.
In 2007, she starred in two college-life-based drama films, Happy Days in Telugu and Kalloori in Tamil. – CINEWS
