John Abraham’s who plays a lead role in Dishoom looking for a missing Indian cricketer says ‘telling a good story gives me the biggest thrill.’ His buddy cop is played by Varun Dhawan.
“My biggest thrill comes from identifying something exciting. When that idea or story is translated into a film and looks interesting, that makes me extremely happy,” says the actor, who has also produced successful movies such as Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe.
After stepping into the film industry nearly 14 years ago with Jism, the model-turned-actor has been, for the last few years, consciously “trying to build a filmography that is special”. And, he doesn’t mind the occasional failure that this pursuit encounters.
“I try not to follow a trend. In my case, such moves have paid off handsomely as well as failed miserably,” says Abraham.
After Dishoom, he returns later this year in Force 2. After that he has not signed any film.
Though lot of producers are willing to back his projects, he says he has to find a script good enough to interest him to face the camera. – CINEWS
