Terror suspect to remain in custody until deportation hearing


Jahanzeb Malik, a Pakistani man accused of planning terrorism in Canada will have to stay in custody pending a deportation hearing. Jahanzeb Malik is expected to appear before the Immigration and Refugee Board in May..The decision today came after the board decided the identity of an undercover agent in the case can be kept secret after all.The board had earlier ruled against the secrecy.Terror
RCMP accuse Malik of plotting to blow up the U.S. consulate and other buildings in Toronto’s financial district. Ottawa is promising to hold an admissibility hearing for him as soon as possible.
