For several years now, Puja Misra who started Zoom Into Life Photography has specialized in contemporary portraits for women. She has spent hours photographing women and often their daughters and at times three generations.

Every year in the lead up to Mother’s Day, she finds herself busier than usual as mothers or their daughters come together to the photo shoot. “It is a really creative way to make the day memorable by having a custom portrait photography session as that is time I’ve seen genuine bonding, mothers and daughters have so much fun during the photo shoot,” she says.
Puja has one daughter, 10-year-old Zeya whom she dotes over. “Motherhood to me has been the most amazing experience since the time my daughter was born. It transformed me in so many wonderful ways; it made me more nurturing, caring and loving and brought out emotions within me which I never knew existed. From the day my daughter was born and held my finger in her tiny little hands till today when she types her school projects herself, every moment that has passed makes me love her more and appreciate what a wonderful young woman my little princess is growing up to be,” she says. It is this relationship that inspired her to create the special Mother’s day portrait concept as I feel that there are so many awesome mothers who share the same beautiful bond with their daughters and through my photography I can help them preserve these memories forever”.
