Actress Saiyami Kher who made her debut in Mirzya says what matters to her is not the failure of the movie but the fact that people liked it.
Even director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra says though it was a box office failure locally it has got many positive responses in foreign countries where it was screened.
Saiyami along with Harshvardhan Kapoor made his debut in the film, which was a take on the tragic love story and folklore of Mirza-Sahiban.
The failure does not seem to have bothered Harsh too and he has been roped into to do two movie projects.
Saiyami said, “We had put our hard work in the film for two years and the reason I took the project was because I liked the script and not because I had an expectation that it will enter the Rs 100-crore club. What matters to me is that people liked our work.”
“People still ask me if I will be seen sharing screen space with Harshvardhan again, which is an accomplishment,” she added.
Talking about her future projects, the actress who recently attended the Grazia Beauty Weekend here, said, “There are three to four projects. If things fall into place, I will talk about them soon.” – CINEWS
