London, July 2 (IANS) Thousands of people on Saturday marched through London to protest against the referendum decision to leave the European Union.
Demonstrators at the “March for Europe” rally displayed placards saying “Bremain” and “We Love EU”, BBC reported.
Britain voted by 52 per cent to 48 per cent on June 23 to leave the EU.
Comedian and protester Mark Thomas said the referendum campaign had not been fought “on a level playing field”.
The campaign “was full of misinformation and people need to do something with their frustration,” he said.
