Kabul, Oct. 18(ANI): The Afghanistan Government has stated that thousands of its troops will be deployed to the northern provinces of the country to prevent any threat by militants.
According to the Tolo News, the troops will be permanently deployed to the Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces.
The Deputy Chief of Minister of Defence (MoD) public affairs department Mohammad Rahman Afzal said that it will be a powerful unit and will be given all equipments so that they do not have to rely on reinforcement troops.
