Three sought in Markham convenience store robbery

Constable_PattendenInvestigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying three suspects following a convenience store robbery on Thursday morning in Markham.

Police were called to a convenience store in the area of McCowan Road and Denison Street  at around 3:50 am  for a report of a robbery. The investigation revealed that three suspects entered the convenience store, two of them armed with guns. The men made a demand for cash and lottery tickets. The employee complied and the suspects fled the store on foot with a quantity of cash and lottery tickets.

The employee was not physically injured as a result of the incident.

  • Male, white
  • 5’10” to 6’
  • Thin build
  • Wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black pants, dark-coloured bandanna covering his face
  • Armed with a gun

  • Male, white
  • 5’10”
  • Thin build
  • Wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black pants, red cap and grey shoes
  • Armed with a gun
Suspect #3

  • Male, white
  • 5’9”
  • Wearing a black jacket with fur on the hood, black pants, black hoodie, black shoes and a red bandanna covering his face

The investigation is ongoing.
