The youngest Bollywood superman Tiger Shroff said that working with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year will enrich his experience but the lead tole in the director’s next film has made him feel the pressure already to take the franchise ahead.
Filmmaker Karan Johar had recently revealed that 26 year-old “The Flying Jar” star will act in the sequel to his hit 2012 college drama Student of the Year which will be directed by Punit Malhotra.
The movie which has been described as a love triangle will also have Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia, director David Dhawan’s son Varun and newcomer Sidharth Malhotra.
“There is pressure to take the franchise forward. I hope I am the right person and I don’t let them down,” Tiger said.
“He (Karan) is the coolest person ever. There is so much to learn from him. You just observe him and listen and absorb things. There is so much value to what he says. I am looking forward to learning so many things by being in his film,” he added.
“It’s a youth-centric film. I can’t give out the details about the premise of the film,” Tiger added.
There were reports that Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khattar and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara would be part of the film. However, besides the Heropanti actor, the rest of the film’s cast is yet to be announced. – CINEWS
