Washington, Mar.18 (ANI): Republican front-runner Donald Trump has revealed he is least bothered about the editorials in the newspapers against him as the world’s three major opinion makers – the Economist, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal – find faults in him.
The Washington Post’s editorial board has advised the Republican Party to do everything in power to stop Trump from winning the party’s nomination.
Trump is far ahead of other candidates in the primaries so far held and opinion polls predict that he could win future primaries as well.
The Economist Intelligence Unit reported earlier that Trump winning the US presidency was one of the top 10 risks facing the world.
‘THE UNTHINKABLE is starting to look like the inevitable, Donald Trump is likely to be the presidential nominee of the Republican Party,’ the Post wrote.
Trump was particularly upset with the Wall Street Journal because it is considered a pro-Republican newspaper and can impact his vote bank.
The post’s editorial board advised the Republican Party on Thursday to “do everything in your power” to stop Trump from winning the party’s nomination.
The Wall Street Journal irked Trump by publishing voting statistics, which showed that he has received fewer overall votes in the Republican primary than Hillary Clinton has in the Democratic primary.
The post also notes that Trump during the course of his campaign denigrated women, Jews, Muslims, Mexicans, people with disabilities and many more. (ANI)
