Tunisian authorities make first arrests after Sousse beach resort killings

London, June 29 (ANI): Tunisia has made its first arrests after a gunman killed 38 people at the beach resort of Sousse on Friday, said the country’s interior minister.

According to BBC, Mohamed Gharsalli said the country’s beach resorts will be guarded by 1,000 troops.

Referring to gunman Seifeddine Rezgui, the Tunisian student who carried out the attack, Gharsalli said that the authorities have arrested a number of people from “the network that was behind this terrorist criminal”.

Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) had claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANI)
