Twinkle Khanna made her debut as a producer and recently she produced her first film ‘Padman’ starring Akshay Kumar has been garnering applause from the critics as well as moviegoers.
With the film, she hoped that people would start talking about menstruation, that has been a taboo subject for a long time.
The story of the movie is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented low-cost sanitary napkins for women in Indian villages.
Although, her debut production has been a successful run, she has no plans of making a biopic on her father Rajesh Khanna or his husband Akshay Kumar as both the stars have ample of popularity in the Hindi Film Industry.
While she’s worked on a story of a real-life person, but she asserts she’s not keen on working on or writing a biopic about her father, the late Rajesh Khanna.
During an event, Khanna said that she has her interest in stories which have layers to it, rather that films that’s completely based on one person’s life.–CINEWS
