Mississauga, November 13 (CINEWS): On April 10, 2015, the body of Mississauga Spa owner Ming-Chien “Teresa” Hsin was found in her car with signs of obvious trauma. Months earlier, an unsuccessful attempt was made on her life outside her home, but she survived.
Her son Eric Lu was devastated by her death at the time and took over the reigns of managing the dozen odd spas under the name Relaxology.
For months, there was no headway in the case and the mystery over who killed “Teresa” and why continued to swirl until this week when Peel Region police announced the arrest of Mark Dookhram, 21, was charged Monday. Justine Ordonio, 25, was charged Tuesday.
And then Wednesday in a sensational disclosure, the then “grieving” son Eric Lu was charged in connection with her murder.
According to Jasbir Gill, an investor and partner in Relaxology string of spas, after the first attempt was made on her life, he asked her if she had any idea who might’ve been behind it. “But she said she had no idea and wanted to move forward, so I didn’t push it, but I had my doubts,” said Gill in an interview in April after she was found murdered.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by visiting or by sending a text message to CRIMES (274637) with the word ‘PEEL’ and then your tip.
