Two Brampton men arrested after sawed-off shotgun seized

shotgunThe  Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit have arrested two males in connection with the seizure of a sawed-off shotgun from a residence in Brampton.

On Sunday June 12, 2016, investigators from the Street Crime Gang Unit executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at a residence on Giraffe Avenue in Brampton. As a result of the search warrant, investigators seized a 20 gauge pump action sawed-off shotgun and 3 rounds of 22 caliber ammunition.

Quaddien Davis, a 22 year-old male from Brampton has been arrested and charged with Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, and 2 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition.

Florian Ashton, a 26 year-old male from Brampton has been arrested and charged with Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, and 2 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition.
