Two killed in Bengal explosion

Kolkata, Dec 28 (IANS) At least two people were killed and three others seriously injured on Monday when a crude bomb they were making exploded in West Bengal’s Malda district, police said.

The explosion occurred inside a warehouse used for storing plastics in Sujapur, some 320 km from Kolkata.

“Prime facie it appears they were making crude bombs here when one of it exploded. Niloo Sheikh and Faizul Sheikh have been killed in the incident while three others admitted to Malda Medical College and Hospital with grievous injuries,” said a police officer.

No arrests have been made in this regard yet.
