Two men and a woman have been charged in connection with a violent home invasion in Meadowvale Sunday morning in which a man was stabbed.
Peel Regional Police say the 24-year-old Mississauga man was stabbed during a home invasion on Oslo Crescent, in the Winston Churchill Boulevard and Derry Road area of Mississauga, at about 4 a.m.
The stabbing victim was the most seriously hurt of several people in the home at the time when suspects forcibly entered, according to Peel Const. George Tudos.
The man’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
A police canine unit tracked down two of the suspects and police made an arrest later in the day.
Tola Omar, 25, no fixed address, has been charged with robbery and breach of probation.
Najib Amin, 28, and Jennifer Masih, 23, both of Toronto, are charged with robbery.
