UAE, Australia discuss bilateral cooperation

Canberra, March 16 (IANS/WAM) UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed with Australian Defence Minister Marise Payne defence and military cooperation and ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Australia.

The visiting UAE minister also discussed the overall developments in the regional and international arenas, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern, including cooperation in the fight against extremism and terrorism.
