New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): India’s most preferred and largest mobile services marketplace, UrbanClap, recently launched their services in Hyderabad to connect consumers with service professionals in an effortless manner.
With an aim to help people find the best services, UrbanClap has come up with services to boost individuals/small businesses with a platform to manage and grow their client network.
Taking advantage of the best technology and smart processes to structure the highly unorganized services market in India, UrbanClap is offering services in 42 categories in the city, including photographers, dieticians, web designers and yoga teachers.
However, they plan to expand their service offering to over 60 categories in the coming month.
Co-founder, UrbanClap, Abhiraj Bhal, in a statement said, “Growing up, when we were looking for service professionals such as wedding photographers, guitar instructors, or even plumbers, we found it difficult to find service professionals who matched our requirements.”
“Existing options like Just Dial simply provided a list of professionals without focusing on our needs- that’s why we decided to start a platform that will make it easy to find and hire the right professional,” added Abhiraj.
He also said that after the success in the Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Pune regions, Hyderabad was the next on target. As a rapidly growing city, which is a blend of tradition and innovation, Hyderabad is home to a diverse mix of people with different service needs.
“UrbanClap aims to be the go-to platform where the residents of the city can find the best experts for any service that they need. We plan to galvanize this space by connecting the talented musicians, photographers and other artists with those in need of their services,” added Bhal.
Currently based out of Delhi-NCR, UrbanClap offers services in 80 categories across Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Pune and now, Hyderabad. UrbanClap has already raised Rs. 10 crore in funding from SAIF Partners, Accel Partners and the founders of Snapdeal, Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal.
UrbanClap aims at an extensive growth plan, which involves expanding its reach to 10 Indian cities and providing services across a 100 categories by the end of the year. It will also be strengthening its current workforce from the present 300 to about 500 by 2016. (ANI)
