The up and coming film, Veerappan , coordinated by Ram Gopal Varma, showcases one of the greatest manhunts ever. In light of the life of the scandalous sandalwood runner, it portrays his story through the perspective of the people  who were included in encounter.

RGV accumulated his exploration material in view of meetings with a portion of the dacoit’s ex-group individuals and individuals who used to intercede amongst him and the legislature. He additionally got data from officers who were a part of the operation to catch him.

A source close to the project, which is produced by Sachiin Joshi, who is also acting in it, says the intense thriller shows the director’s prowess. The source adds that a particular scene unravels Veerappan’s plot to kidnap the legend of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth, in the same way he had kidnapped Kannada superstar Rajkumar. The filmmaker learnt about this plan through sources close to the bandit. RGV says, “From all the truth I gathered, Veerappan’s story was unbelievable. But what is even more unbelievable is the drama which went behind the plan to kill him.”
