Vivek Oberoi: I’m not fan of censorship

Mumbai, November 28 (CINEWS): Vivek Oberoi says he doesn’t have faith in censorship and feels individuals must be liberal with content.vivek1

“Honestly, I’m not a fan of censorship and I don’t have faith in it. I trust we need to continue and advance through the time. I was asked by a few individuals from a government (about it), and this is the opinion I gave them,” he said at an event here.

The censor board has been in the news recently as it snipped significantly the length of a kiss in James Bond film “Ghost”.

“I’m not saying that tomorrow individuals are going to show porn in theaters, yet yes obviously there must be more progressivism with time. It is bad that we’re following the 1952 demonstration, it is needed to redesign. And that is a sign of a development,” he included.

Currently shooting for ‘Incredible Grand Masti’, Vivek talked about his future task ‘Bank Chor’ with Yash Raj Films, and said: “I was cheerful when Adi (Aditya Chopra) called me for the film. The film is exciting… distraught. The chief, Bumpy is exceptionally young and tense and I think the film going to shock individuals.”

With ‘Bank Chor’, Vivek is returning to Yash Raj Films quite a long while in the wake of working with the banner in ‘Saathiya’.

‘Bank-Chor’ is a comic thriller that recounts the tale of three individuals trying to burglarize a bank, and what happens when everything turns out badly and they’re accidentally gotten in the crossfire of cops, industrialists and degenerate netas.

‘Bank-Chor’ is coordinated by Bumpy and created by Ashish Patil.
