Vyapam scam: ‘Will deaths take quest for truth away’, asks Manish Tewari

London, July 05 (ANI): Petra Kvitova, who was defending the Wimbledon title, has revealed that she is bemused by her shocking third round defeat against 28th seed Jelena Jankovic.

Kvitova was beaten 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 in a dramatic contest after the second seed Czech claimed an imperious victory in her previous two matches at the Championships.

Reflecting on her defeat, Kvitova said that she was not really sure what had happened during the match, adding that she was just missing shots while describing it as unusual or weird, the BBC reported.

The two-time Wimbledon champion appeared on course to replicate her dominant form as she clinched the first set in 29 minutes before Jankovic wrestled her way back to bag the next two sets and oust Kvitova.

Kvitova said that she felt like Jankovic was coming back and playing a little bit aggressive, adding that she was really struggling with each shot which she played. (ANI)
